Living abroad inspired me a lot. And awakened my understanding of entrepreneurship.

In 2018, I attempted to establish an online store that would internationally sell products from local vendors living in Cape Town, South Africa – with the purpose of supporting them through wider market access and higher-end pricing. This included creating a corporate identity, sourcing producers, selecting items, and taking product photographs.

The endeavor went live with a website as a registered small business, yet then my collaborator and I decided to not go ahead (mainly for logistical reasons). Nonetheless, I was able to interact with great people from different countries and explore colorful fashion and accessories.

Such trial and error is what shapes your skills for what you pursue further.
